Casting Notice: CO-OP THEATRE EAST’S production of Eve Ensler’s “A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant and A Prayer”, in addition to “COTE Tales”, a new monthly play reading series.
Co-Op Theatre East (COTE) announces auditions for “A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant and A Prayer,” part of the 2008 V-Day Campaign to end violence against women. V-Day is a global movement to end violence against women and girls that raises funds and awareness through benefit productions of Playwright/Founder Eve Ensler’s award winning play “The Vagina Monologues” and other artistic works.
“A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant and A Prayer” runs:
Monday, February 23rd at 7:00pm
Tuesday, February 24th at 7:00 pm
Wednesday, February 25th at 7:00pm
Performances will be held at EndTimes Underground @ the Gene Frankel Theatre (www.endtimesproductions.org) - 24 Bond Street, between Lafayette and Bowery.
COTE also announces auditions for “COTE Tales,” a monthly play reading series that will be held at Kaffe 1668 (275 Greenwich Street - Tribeca), starting in late January. All actors auditioning will be considered for the reading series for the duration of the 2008-09 season, ending in June.
Seeking:
ACTORS and ACTRESSES all ages, types and ethnicities encouraged. Performers are asked to prepare a monologue under 2 minutes.
Auditions will be held on January 10th, 2008 at the Gene Frankel Theatre - 24 Bond Street between 9:00 am and 1:00pm. You must submit your headshot and resume by e-mail to cotecasting@gmail.com to receive an audition spot. Non-Union. No Pay.
